I don't think we really realize what black people have contributed to this country. Only to not be included in the other eleven months in a year according to history. It's tragic that black people have never gotten their just do for all the contributions to this country. The shortest month of the year and the short end of the stick. Not to be on my soap box are anything, but its ironic that we have never gotten our history told in the proper context for all Americans to examine for themselves. Let me be frank the world we live in is filled with racism and that cannot disputed. The truth can never set us free if it is never acknowledge and told. To quote the actor Jack Nicholas in the gripping movie form 1992 the year of the LA riots. You can't handle the Truth that's why they don't tell it. Im still amazed that the only thing that separates the human race is pigmentation of our skin. What's so crazy is when we have to get along we do so and soon as we leave each others presence we return our permeative ways. Is everyone racist? I don't think so, but can it be argued? Yes, because we are more racist than we think. I just want to see the day when Martin Luther King Jr.’s I have dream speech impacts us enough that there is a real change. But you want the truth the real truth it starts with us!
